Abstract This descriptive correlational study examined the relationship among teachers’ mental health, occupational stress, coping strategies, and their ability to develop MATATAG-aligned instructional materials among 56 public elementary school teachers in Odiongan North District, Romblon. Findings revealed that teachers experienced moderate mental health and stress, commonly used adaptive coping strategies, and remained confident in developing instructional materials. Results showed that occupational stress had a significant negative effect on instructional ability, while mental health showed no significant relationship. The study recommends stress management, workload reduction, peer mentoring, and institutional support to improve teacher well-being and support effective MATATAG Curriculum implementation.
