Abstract Reading is an essential skill that influences students’ academic performance, critical thinking, and personality development. This survey report examines students’ reading habits, including their preferences, frequency of reading, choice of materials, and the impact of digital media on traditional reading practices. The findings reveal that although students understand the importance of reading for academic and personal growth, their reading habits vary widely. Many students prefer digital platforms and focus more on academic materials than recreational reading. Factors such as academic workload, time constraints, and social media usage negatively affect regular reading practices. However, students show a positive attitude toward improving their reading habits when provided with proper motivation, resources, and institutional support. The report emphasizes the need for educational institutions to encourage a balanced and strong reading culture among students.
