Abstract Alopecia areata (AA) is a chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by non-scarring hair loss, most commonly involving the scalp¹. Despite the availability of treatments such as corticosteroids, topical immunotherapy, and Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, clinical response varies considerably and relapse remains frequent¹,². This has led to growing interest in complementary therapeutic approaches.
