| Abstract | This study assesses the physical, chemical, and macroinvertebrate composition in Asin Hot Spring. Sampling was conducted at 150 meters. The rapid assessment of the integration of the hot spring in the river reveals favorable water parameters; pH, temperature, and TSS are within the quality criteria, and the substratum is characterized by a sandy, rocky substratum. Macroinvertebrates' Shannon-Weiner diversity index is considered moderate diversity. EPT abundance revealed a value of 56 population counts belonging to EPT. The EPT abundance revealed that the river has a good population of pollution-sensitive insects, revealing a good water quality. |
