Abstract Background: The integration of digital technology in healthcare has increased the importance of nursing informatics in clinical practice. However, differences in knowledge levels among nurses may affect its effective utilization. Methodology: Non experimental (descriptive) research design was used. 100 subjects were selected by Non- probability (purposive) sampling technique. The study was conducted at GRH Madurai. Data was collected by using structured questionnaire. Findings: Among 100 samples, Majority of the subjects 53 (53%) had adequate knowledge, 47 (47%) had moderately adequate knowledge, and none had inadequate knowledge. Conclusion: The study concluded that majority of the subjects 53 (53%) had adequate knowledge. Chi-square analysis showed that there was statistically significant association between level of knowledge and age (χ² = 10.41, p = 0.03) and educational qualification (χ² = 14.0, p = 0.02).
