| Abstract | features required in real-world banking systems such as multi-factor authentication, real-time The Bank Management System developed in this project is a web-based application designed to simplify and automate core banking operations using the Flask framework and an Oracle database. The system provides functionalities such as user registration, secure login with password hashing, account creation, deposit and withdrawal operations, fund transfers, and transaction history management. It also includes an administrative module that allows monitoring of users, accounts, transactions, and suspicious login activities, ensuring better control over the system. The application emphasizes data security through encrypted password storage and user authentication mechanisms. Additional features such as password recovery using security questions, login tracking, and a basic spending analysis module enhance the usability and functionality of the system. The project demonstrates how backend technologies can be integrated with database systems to create a structured and efficient banking solution.Although the system effectively handles essential banking tasks and improves efficiency by reducing manual effort, it is primarily intended for academic purposes. It lacks advanced payment integration, and high-level scalability. However, it provides a strong foundation for further development and can be extended into a more robust and secure banking application. |
