Abstract Vernal Keratoconjunctivitis is a chronic allergic eye disorder commonly seen in children, particularly in warm and dry climatic regions. In Ayurveda, its clinical features resemble those of Kaphaja Abhishyanda, which occurs due to the vitiation of Kapha and Pitta Dosha. This imbalance leads to ocular inflammation, redness, irritation, and excessive discharge.
