Author(s) Mr. James Adrian Celemin Ting
Country Philippines
Abstract The study introduces CALUMPANG as a Blue-Green Infrastructure system that will serve as the framework for making the development of urban areas in the Calumpang River Corridor of Batangas City resilient against flooding. This was established by conducting studies regarding flooding problems, land-use problems, and environmental problems through surveying, interviews, site observation, and document analysis. It was found out that the major factors that result in flooding in the area include rapid urbanization, inappropriate land use, and degradation of the environment.
