Practice of Nursing Care Plan with Concept Mapping in a Private Hospital

Abstract Concept mapping is a powerful strategy for organizing and visualizing complex information. The situation was precious for nursing students as they learned to create effective care plans. The nursing concept map is like a visual Global Positioning System (GPS) for nursing care. The subject is a powerful tool that helps nursing students organize complex information and see the interconnectedness of various aspects of patient management. Thus, the focus is a beautifully crafted mind map specifically designed for nursing practice. A significant study on the use of concept mapping to enhance practical skills among student nurses during posting in the hospital. Concept mapping is an effective teaching strategy for developing practice and clinical decision-making skills. This approach can help nursing educators improve skills and identify theoretical and clinical deficiencies among student nurses in private hospitals on the East Coast. Practical skill nurses process vast amounts of information and require well-developed nursing skills to make clinical decisions. This study uses a pretest-posttest design, and the practice skills of 80 undergraduate nurses will be evaluated using the Practical Nursing Skills Test. Despite the small sample, most undergraduate nurses will improve their practice skills during their studies at a private hospital on the East Coast of Malaysia.
