| Abstract | Gender interaction is an important aspect of social development in modern society. In India, friendship and communication between boys and girls are often influenced by cultural traditions, moral perceptions, and social expectations. While healthy interaction contributes to personality development, communication skills, and workplace adjustment, social restrictions and misunderstanding sometimes create conflict and social tension. The present study examines the relationship between gender interaction, social conflict, workplace behavior, and economic productivity among youth in India. The study is descriptive and analytical in nature and is based entirely on secondary data collected from books, journals, reports, and scholarly publications. The findings indicate that social conflict arise mainly from conservative social attitudes, moral stigma, generation gaps, and misunderstanding of relationships rather that from gender interaction itself. The study further observes that restricted interaction may negatively affect confidence, teamwork, communication ability, and women’s workforce participation. The paper concludes that balanced and respectful gender interaction can contribute positively to workplace efficiency, social harmony, and economic development while maintaining ethical and cultural values. |
