Therapeutic Management of Severe Anaemia In a Labrador Bitch

Abstract	A five year old female Labrador dog (Rani) of Dhamtari CAF regimen was brought to the Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex (TVCC),Veterinary College Anjora, Durg, Chattisgarh, with a complaint of severe weakness, lethargy and complete loss of appetite. The dog was earlier treated with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drug, and cortisones by a local veterinarian suspecting for metritis. The dog did not respond to the treatment rather there was gradual deterioration in the condition. Then, it was referred to the TVCC of the College.
