| Abstract | Mathematics is a foundational subject that develops logical thinking and reasoning abilities in students. This experimental study examined the impact of visual arts and game-based teaching strategies on the mathematics achievement of seventh-grade students. Adopting a multigroup pretest-posttest experimental design, a representative sample of 200 Class VII students was randomly selected from five CBSE schools in Amritsar City. To ensure baseline control and randomization, Dr. G.C. Ahuja’s Group Test of Intelligence (2005) and a mathematics pre-test were administered. The collected data were analyzed using Mean, Standard Deviation, \(t\)-ratio, and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results revealed a strong, positive relationship between the instructional variables and student performance. Furthermore, both game-based teaching and visual arts, along with their interaction, exerted a statistically significant positive effect on mathematics achievement. These findings offer valuable pedagogical implications for teachers, students, and parents seeking to enhance mathematical skills through innovative, interactive learning strategies. |
