| Abstract | Women agricultural workers play a vital role in the rural economy. They simultaneously manage the field work and household work. Balancing agricultural work with the home responsibilities is a challenging task. The study has made an attempt to understand the work satisfaction and WLB among women agricultural workers. The work satisfaction variable was classified into three sub variables namely wage satisfaction, working condition satisfaction and work pride. The study is based on the first-hand data collected from 100 agricultural women workers. Spearman’s correlation was employed to analyse the data. The results of the research revealed that wage satisfaction and working condition has a positive significant connection with WLB whereas, work pride was found to have a weak and statistically insignificant relationship with work life balance. Therefore, study emphasizes the need for wage improvement and better working conditions to enhance the overall quality of life of the women agricultural workers. |
