Abstract Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is traditionally used to support metabolic health, endocrine function, physical performance, and healthy aging. Trigonelline, one of its naturally occurring alkaloids, has attracted increasing scientific interest because of its influence on glucose metabolism, mitochondrial efficiency, oxidative stress regulation, inflammatory balance, and cellular energy production.
