Abstract Sustainable and social entrepreneurship has emerged as a powerful pathway to inclusive development by addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges in an integrated manner. Unlike conventional business models that prioritize profit maximization, sustainable and social enterprises focus on creating long-term value for society while maintaining financial viability. These enterprises aim to reduce inequalities, generate employment, and promote responsible use of natural resources, thereby contributing to balanced and inclusive growth. By aligning entrepreneurial innovation with social responsibility and environmental stewardship, they offer practical solutions to development gaps that governments and traditional markets often fail to address. Social entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in empowering marginalized and underserved communities by providing access to essential services such as education, healthcare, clean energy, sanitation, and financial inclusion. It encourages community participation, local leadership, and grassroots innovation, ensuring that development initiatives are context-specific and people-centered. Sustainable entrepreneurship complements this approach by integrating environmentally friendly practices, promoting renewable energy, reducing waste, and supporting circular economy models. Together, these forms of entrepreneurship foster resilience and adaptability in local economies while addressing pressing global concerns such as climate change and social exclusion. Inclusive development through sustainable and social entrepreneurship is further strengthened by the creation of decent work opportunities, skill development, and ethical business practices. These enterprises often prioritize fair wages, gender equality, and social justice, contributing to human development and social cohesion. Innovation and technology play a vital role in scaling impact, enabling entrepreneurs to reach wider populations at lower costs while improving efficiency and transparency. Supportive policy frameworks, access to finance, capacity-building initiatives, and partnerships with public and private stakeholders are essential to nurture this ecosystem. In conclusion, sustainable and social entrepreneurship represents a transformative approach to development that balances economic growth with social equity and environmental sustainability. By fostering inclusive participation, promoting innovation with purpose, and addressing systemic inequalities, these entrepreneurial models contribute to a more just, resilient, and sustainable society. As development challenges become increasingly complex, sustainable and social entrepreneurship offers a viable and inclusive pathway toward achieving long-term development goals and shared prosperity.
