| Abstract | India’s entrepreneurial landscape has undergone a structural transformation over the past decade, driven significantly by the development of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Platforms such as Aadhaar, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), and the Account Aggregator framework have reduced transaction costs, enhanced financial inclusion, and lowered entry barriers for startups and micro-entrepreneurs. This paper examines how DPI has facilitated the transition from a job-seeking economy to a job-creating ecosystem. Using secondary data and policy analysis, the study explores the theoretical foundations of digital entrepreneurship, evaluates opportunities created through DPI, identifies structural challenges, and proposes policy measures to ensure inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial growth. The findings suggest that India’s DPI model represents a globally replicable framework for democratizing entrepreneurship in emerging economies. |
