| Abstract | The transformation of global entrepreneurial landscapes has led to the emergence of complex financing and investment ecosystems that extend beyond traditional banking structures. Venture capital, angel investors, crowd funding mechanisms, and public–private partnerships (PPPs) have collectively reshaped capital formation processes for start-ups, innovation-driven enterprises, and infrastructure development. This paper presents a comprehensive conceptual and analytical examination of these financing mechanisms within an ecosystem framework. Drawing on secondary data, scholarly literature, and global policy insights, the study explores their structural characteristics, functional roles, interdependencies, and macroeconomic implications. The findings reveal that an integrated financing ecosystem enhances innovation diffusion, reduces financial constraints for early-stage ventures, strengthens public infrastructure development, and promotes sustainable economic growth. The paper proposes a multi-layered financing ecosystem model linking micro-level entrepreneurial funding to macro-level institutional development. The study contributes to commerce and management literature by integrating fragmented financing theories into a unified ecosystem perspective. |
