| Abstract | The Indian government started the Start up India Stand up India initiative on August 15, 2015. The main goal was to support the start-ups by promoting bank funding flexibility. The incentives offered were designed to encourage entrepreneurship and give employment to young people. The commercialization and development of novel goods, services, and procedures that are fueled by intellectual property and any new domestic technology are supported by these kinds of schemes. With the help of our extensive corporate structure, the Indian startup ecosystem has grown significantly over the last 20 years. These companies have been and will be vital to the socioeconomic advancement and change of our economic structure. A startup is a business that focuses on developing, growing, and commercializing novel goods, services, or systems that are powered by new technology or Intellectual property. Startups function as part of a larger corporate ecosystem that places a high priority on developing meaningful solutions rather than as standalone companies. Entrepreneurship, which generates employment, raises national income, supports rural development, advances technology, industrializes a nation, encourages exports, and more, might impede a nation's economic progress. Many companies and organizations participate in entrepreneurship development programs, and some of the participants use these programs as a launching pad for their own firms. Entrepreneurs transform concepts into business opportunities through inventions. This article examined the contribution of startups to India's economic expansion. |
