| Abstract | India’s start-up ecosystem has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years, driven by innovation, digital transformation, and supportive policy frameworks. Within this dynamic landscape, women and youth entrepreneurs are increasingly moving from the margins to the mainstream, reshaping the entrepreneurial narrative of the country. This paper examines the role of government initiatives, institutional support, and ecosystem enablers in advancing inclusivity and participation of these groups. Policies such as targeted funding schemes, mentorship programs, skill development initiatives, and regulatory reforms have created pathways for greater representation and empowerment. By analyzing the impact of these measures, the study highlights how inclusive policies not only foster equity but also enhance the competitiveness and resilience of the start-up sector. The findings underscore the importance of sustained policy innovation, collaborative networks, and cultural shifts in ensuring that women and youth continue to thrive as central actors in India’s entrepreneurial journey. Ultimately, the paper argues that advancing inclusivity in start-ups is not only a matter of social justice but also a strategic imperative for national economic growth. |
