| Abstract | Video analysis plays vital role in the field of sports and games. video analysis is very essential tool in sports for improving various sports skill performance. It helps coaches, players and analysts to find out body movements, strategies, and performance of athletes. This study helps us how video analysis works. By using video record and slow motion we can easily asses mistakes, skill timings, improper movements and techniques. Athletes can watch themselves and correct their skill performance. It improves good communicative bond between coaches and players. It helps to encourage athletes to learn on their own. Video analysis can be done by using 2D and 3D motion camera and performance can be analysed by using software such as Kinovea, Dartfish and Hadl. This technique helps athletes to improve skill better, improve technique and helps athletes to avoid injuries and makes training more effective. |
