| Abstract | This study examines the level of e-learning competence and teaching performance among Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) teachers in selected public junior high schools for school year 2025-2026 in Misamis Oriental. E-learning competence was measured in terms of office applications, collaboration tools, task management, and security and compliance tools. Teaching performance was assessed based on curriculum and planning, assessment and reporting, and personal growth and professional development. Using a descriptive correlational research design, data were collected from 200 Technology and Livelihood Education teachers through universal and purposive sampling. Data were gathered using a validated patterned and modified researcher made questionnaire. Statistical tools including mean, percentage, standard deviation, and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient were used for data analysis. Key findings revealed that teachers demonstrated a high level of e-learning competence and a high level of teaching performance. In e-learning competence, collaboration tools got the highest mean and interpreted as high, while security and compliance tools got the lowest mean but still interpreted as high. In teaching performance, personal growth and professional development got the highest mean and was interpreted as consistently demonstrates, while assessment and reporting got the lowest mean and was interpreted as most of the time demonstrates. There is a significant relationship between e-learning competence and teaching performance indicating that TLE teachers with higher digital skills tended to show better teaching performance. It is concluded that e-learning competence plays an important role in improving teaching performance. Thus, it is recommended that schools are encouraged to implement regular training programs focusing on digital security, technology based assessment, and effective use of e-learning tools to improve teaching performance among teachers. |
