| Abstract | Stroke is a common cause of death and neurological impairment. Comprehensive assessments of stroke patients are required for proper care management, evaluation of interventions, and assessment of outcomes. Stroke remains a significant global health burden, necessitating comprehensive and innovative approaches in rehabilitation to optimize recovery outcomes. There are incidences that show physiotherapy interventions are effective for improving the functional capacity of patients, and task-oriented training helps in the motor recovery of patients. Presentation of the case: A 49-year-old male police officer came to the OPD with the complaint of inability to move his right arm and leg. Clinical findings indicate upper limb voluntary control of 0 and lower limb voluntary control of 3. Diagnostic findings confirmed a middle cerebral artery infarct. The patient had a history of hypertension. Results: Strength training in combination with task-oriented training reduces the time to achieve patients’ independence. |
