IOT Based Supply Control System

Abstract This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT Based Supply Control System using Arduino Uno and HC-05 Bluetooth module for remote switching of 230V AC electrical loads up to 1000W. The system enables wireless control via smartphone application with 8 meters Bluetooth range, addressing safety risks in manual MCB operation.
The hardware consists of Arduino Uno, HC-05 module, and 5V relay mounted on PCB within IP65 rated enclosure.
Experimental results demonstrate average response time of 1.3 seconds with 100% reliability over 50 consecutive ON/OFF cycles. Power consumption is 45mA idle and 70mA during operation. The system provides safe remote switching and is cost-effective for domestic applications. Future work includes GSM module integration for extended range.
