| Abstract | This paper aims to study the QoL of JNV alumni with their experiences during their time at JNV. The study explores how the educational, social, and personal experiences within JNV influence the alumni’s current quality of life, particularly in terms of social integration, mental health, physical health and life satisfaction. For the purpose of the study, a random sampling method was applied among five hundred fifty (n=550) alumni of JNVs of North East Indian state i.e. Shillong Region of NVS. The age of the subjects was ranging from 18 years to 30 years. For collecting data of the study, the WHOQOL-BREF (World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF) questionnaire was used. After statistical analysis, it is found out that the quality of life of the JNVs alumni is improving as their passing out year is increasing. The researcher concludes that to maintain physical health, one must spare some time of a day to engage themselves in the physical activities inspite of the busy schedule of the life as without health there is no value for having a permanent source of income. |
