Impact of Combined McKenzie Therapy, Neural Mobilization, and Strengthening Exercises on Functional Outcomes in Cervical Radiculopathy: A Case Study

Author(s) Dr. Prachi Sanjay Choudhary
Country India
Abstract Cervical radiculopathy is a prevalent musculoskeletal and neurological condition marked by neck pain that radiates to the upper limb, resulting from the compression or irritation of cervical nerve roots. This case study outlines the success of an integrated physiotherapy strategy that incorporates McKenzie therapy, neural mobilization, and strengthening exercises for a 45-year-old man with C6 cervical radiculopathy. After a 6-week rehabilitation program, notable enhancements were seen in pain intensity, cervical range of motion, muscle strength, and functional disability. The results indicate that a multimodal physiotherapy strategy can significantly enhance functional results and alleviate symptoms in individuals with cervical radiculopathy.
