| Abstract | This study evaluates the cosmetic outcomes and patient satisfaction scores of Single-Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) compared to traditional 3-port laparoscopy for elective cholecystectomies. Utilizing a retrospective cohort design, we analyzed 60 patients to determine if the single-umbilical-incision approach offers superior patient-reported outcomes without compromising clinical safety. Results indicate that while SILS significantly improves aesthetic satisfaction, it is associated with increased operative complexity and prolonged surgical duration. |
