Abstract	Background: Meconium is a substance that accumulate in the fetal gastrointestinal tract during the intrauterine fetal life, it is a germ-free, thick, black-green, odorless material which is first recognized in the fetal intestine around 12 weeks of gestation and stores in the fetal colon throughout gestation. Presence of MSAF indicate sign of fetal compromise. This study aimed to find out the factors associated with unfavorable obstetric outcomes among women with intra partum meconium stained amniotic fluid.
