| Abstract | Logistics operations play an important role in manufacturing firms because timely material movement, accurate inventory records, warehouse coordination and reliable delivery performance directly influence customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. With increasing operational complexity, digital tools such as route planning applications, barcode systems, enterprise resource planning modules, warehouse management systems and real-time tracking applications have become useful in improving logistics activities. This study examines the role of digital tools in enhancing logistics operations in a selected textile manufacturing firm. It focuses on transportation efficiency, inventory control, warehouse activities, real-time tracking, decision support, cost-related improvement and overall logistics effectiveness. The study is based on responses collected from employees involved in logistics-related functions and analyses how digitalisation supports better coordination, reduces delays, improves stock accuracy and strengthens operational decision-making. |
