Abstract This article is about the Ginger blast disease that occurs in the Wayanad district of Kerala. This article explores the origins of disease proliferation, epidemiology, and management measures based on field observations. The study emphasises how to reduce the devastating loss of the ginger crop due to Pyricularia infection in the future.
