| Abstract | This study examined the levels and interrelationships of job satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficacy among working people. In today's competitive work environment, employees face increasing demands and pressures. Understanding the psychological factors influencing their well-being and performance is essential. A quantitative, cross-sectional descriptive design was adopted with a sample of 203 working adults aged 20 to 45 years selected using convenient sampling. Three standardized instruments were used: the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), and the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ Short Form). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation. Findings revealed that self-efficacy had a significant positive relationship with job satisfaction (r = .187, p < .01), while self-esteem showed a significant negative relationship (r = -.379, p < .01). Significant demographic differences were found in self-esteem, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction based on gender, marital status, sector of work, occupational type, educational qualification, and residence. The study highlights the importance of fostering self-efficacy in organizational settings to enhance employee well-being and satisfaction |
