Role of Techno Pedagogy in Teacher Education

Abstract	Teachers play an important and dynamic role in providing educational opportunity to students in making school more efficient and effective. The primary responsibility of the teacher is to provide the instructional program and classroom environment that allow each child to develop his/her capacities to the fullest. They have to play a major role in monitoring student’s progress and anticipating, preventing and solving problems, arranging the environment to maximize efficiency. The student of education know well that Indian Education has with stood the challenges of time & has responded to the social, political, cultural, economic pressure & demands. Hence, Techno Pedagogy is carrying a very crucial role in teacher education.
