Abstract In the contemporary business environment, organizations increasingly recognize that employee emotions, attitudes, and interpersonal relationships significantly influence organizational effectiveness. Emotional Intelligence (EI), which refers to the ability to understand, manage, and utilize emotions effectively, has emerged as an important factor contributing to individual and organizational success. This study examines the impact of Emotional Intelligence on organizational performance by exploring its role in enhancing employee productivity, leadership effectiveness, teamwork, workplace relationships, and decision-making capabilities. Emotionally intelligent employees are better equipped to manage stress, adapt to organizational changes, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive workplace interactions, which ultimately contributes to improved organizational outcomes.

The study is conceptual and descriptive in nature and is based on secondary data collected from research journals, books, academic articles, and professional publications related to emotional intelligence and organizational performance. The study highlights that Emotional Intelligence positively influences employee engagement, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and overall performance. It also emphasizes the importance of emotional competencies among leaders in creating supportive work environments and motivating employees towards achieving organizational goals.

The findings suggest that organizations that promote emotional intelligence through training and development initiatives can enhance employee effectiveness and build a resilient workforce. Therefore, Emotional Intelligence should be considered a strategic capability that complements technical skills and contributes to sustainable organizational performance.
