| Abstract | The study determined personal traits as a precursor for effective teaching strategies with the integration of grit as a key determinant towards transcending lifelong learning skills towards physical activities as a lifelong learning skills. Grit as a determinant in teaching PATHFit towards fostering perseverance for long-term physical activity goals, improves intrinsic motivation, promotes positive attitudes, and enhances self-discipline in students. It was concluded that high failure risk for intended outcomes low grit (perseverance/passion) as it was indicated that grit is crucial for sustaining effort over time and overcoming physical challenges, which are central to PATHFit. Without grit, students are less likely to persist in difficult, high-intensity, or repetitive physical activities, reducing the likelihood of physical improvement. It was concluded that the combination of low grit and moderate engagement creates a high probability that students will not complete the program, will participate with minimal effort, or will not achieve the desired improvements in cardiovascular endurance or strength, especially if the program is high-risk. It was recommended to successfully implement PATHFit is to develop a tailored and adaptive instruction by adjust mobility exercises based on individual flexibility, range of motion, and physical control to prevent injury, especially in high-risk scenarios. Focus on a "progressively intensifying" approach rather than high-intensity immediately. Integrate technology for engagement to utilize digital tools, such as fitness trackers, apps, and portfolios, to increase interest and provide objective, non-threatening feedback, which helps manage low grit. |
