Abstract The growing use of computers in the workplace has led many desktop workers to spend prolonged periods sitting and engaging in low levels of physical activity. Sedentary behavior is associated with increased body mass index (BMI), reduced hamstring flexibility, and a higher risk of musculoskeletal problems. Understanding the relationship between BMI, physical activity, and hamstring flexibility may help in developing strategies to improve the health and well-being of desktop workers.
