Abstract Healthcare organisations, particularly private hospitals, continue to undergo rapid organisational changes driven by technological advancements, accreditation requirements, policy reforms, and increasing patient expectations. Nurses, as the largest group of healthcare professionals, play a central role in implementing these changes; however, resistance to organisational change remains a significant challenge that can hinder successful implementation and affect the quality of patient care. Leadership styles have been recognised as a key factor influencing nurses' attitudes and behaviours during organisational change. This narrative integrative review synthesises recent evidence on the relationship between leadership styles and nurses' resistance to organisational change in private hospitals, with a particular focus on identifying leadership approaches that promote readiness for change and support effective change management in healthcare settings.
