This paper explores the intersection of toxicology and traditional herbal medicine, aiming to highlight the importance of assessing the toxicological profiles of herbal compounds, elucidate potential herb-drug interactions, and propose strategies for integrating modern toxicological evaluations with age-old therapeutic systems. Bridging this gap is essential for safe clinical application, global acceptance, and regulatory standardization of traditional remedies.
