| Abstract | We present a comprehensive, systematically expanded formulation of Time-Resistance Theory (TRT), a novel scalar-tensor theory of gravitation wherein the macroscopic manifestation of gravity is decoupled from pure geometric curvature and reassigned to the spatial gradients of a dynamical, dimensionless scalar field, τ(xµ), representing local temporal scaling. This manuscript provides complete, explicit, step-by-step historical derivations of the foundational frameworks of modern physics—including Albert Einstein’s 1905 mass-energy equivalence, David Hilbert’s 1915 variational action principle, and Erwin Schrödinger’s 1926 wave mechanics—and demonstrates precisely how the introduction of the dynamic temporal variable τ alters these formulations. By constructing a fully covariant total action with non-minimal scalar-curvature coupling, we derive the modified gravitational field equations and the scalar field’s intrinsic equation of motion. We demonstrate that TRT successfully reduces to the Newtonian weak-field limit, provides a non-geometric mechanics for gravitational redshift, predicts a distinct longitudinal mode of scalar gravitational radiation, and offers a robust mathematical avenue for resolving physical spacetime singularities by freezing the local progression of time as τ → 0. |
