Abstract	This paper provides a comparative analysis of parametric and non parametric statistical tests, evaluating their underlying assumptions, statistical power and robustness. This paper presents a comparative study of selected parametric and non-parametric statistical tests, discussing their assumptions, characteristics, applications, advantages, limitations, and appropriate areas of use. The study concludes that selecting the appropriate statistical test depends on the nature of the data, sample size, measurement scale, and research objectives rather than on the complexity or popularity of the method.
