Relationship Between Geriatric Health and Psychological Well-Being Among Community-Dwelling Older Adults: Validation of the Geriatric Health Questionnaire (GeHQ) Using the PGI Well-Being Scale Following a Structured Three-Month Intervention

| Abstract | The global increase in life expectancy has shifted healthcare priorities from disease management to the promotion of healthy ageing and quality of life. While numerous geriatric assessment instruments evaluate isolated domains such as cognition, depression, mobility, or functional independence, few provide an integrated evaluation of physical, psychological, emotional, and cognitive health within a single screening measure. The Geriatric Health Questionnaire (GeHQ) was developed to address this need by providing a comprehensive multidimensional assessment suitable for clinical practice, community screening, and intervention outcome evaluation. |
