Properties Of Silica With Zinc Oxide Nanocomposite And Its Antibacterial Effect

Abstract	The background is based on Nanotechnology for Biomedical Applications. Nano-silica with metal oxide composite was used to determine the zone of inhibition of ten different bacterial species using Disc Diffusion Method. Nano-silica with Zinc oxide was initially synthesized by Hydrothermal method of Nanotechnology. The structural, functional and optical properties, the elemental composition and surface charge of the material was analyzed by different nanomaterial characterizations.
