Abstract This study aimed to compare the effectiveness and adaptability of Jetmatic, Electric, and Solar-Powered Water Pumps as irrigation technologies used by farmers. The study utilized a descriptive-comparative research design to assess how farmers respond to and adopt these technologies in their farming practices, especially in addressing the challenges brought by climate change. Data were gathered through surveys among farmers using these three water pump technologies. The technologies were evaluated based on irrigation efficiency, cost operation, accessibility, maintenance requirements, reliability during changing weather conditions, and overall contribution to farm productivity. The study found that Jetmatic pumps are affordable but costly to maintain, while electric pumps are efficient yet dependent on stable electricity. Solar-powered pumps as the most sustainable and climate resilient despite high installation costs. Farmer’s adoption of these technologies depends on financial capacity, resource accessibility, awareness and technical support.
