Abstract This study explores the potential of radio as an educational tool for Rohingya refugees living in the refugee camps of Bangladesh, who face limited access to formal schooling due to overcrowded area, limited aid, illiteracy, lack of electricity and/or digital connectivity. Drawing on several fieldwork, in-depth interviews, author’s engagement with radio stations and community insights, the study examines how Rohingya-language relating radio programs can promote informal learning, literacy, and awareness on education, health and social issues. Findings reveal that culturally grounded, community-driven radio programs can bridge educational gaps and foster participation among the refugees. The study concludes that integrating radio into refugee education strategies offers a sustainable approach to reducing educational exclusion among displaced Rohingya communities.
