| Abstract | This study determined the level of implementation and effectiveness of Department of Education (DepEd) training programs among public school personnel. The study was conducted in the District of Malinao, Division of Aklan, Region VI–Western Visayas, involving teaching and non-teaching personnel from selected public schools. The descriptive research design was utilized to assess the extent of implementation of DepEd training programs and their effectiveness in enhancing employees’ competencies, professional growth, and work performance. A researcher-made questionnaire served as the primary instrument in gathering the necessary data. Statistical tools such as frequency count, percentage, mean, and ranking were employed in the analysis and interpretation of data. Findings revealed that the DepEd training programs were generally highly implemented and effective among public school personnel. The respondents perceived that the training programs significantly contributed to the improvement of their knowledge, skills, job efficiency, and professional development. The study also identified certain concerns related to the availability of resources, training schedules, and accessibility of programs. Based on the findings, the study concluded that DepEd training programs play a vital role in strengthening the competencies and performance of public school personnel. Continuous implementation and enhancement of training activities are therefore essential to ensure quality service delivery in the educational system. It is recommended that DepEd regularly assess the training needs of personnel and develop responsive and sustainable training programs to further improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance. |
