Effect of Suspension Training Program on Personality Variable of The University Students

| Abstract | Background: The purpose of this study is to find out the Effect of the Suspension Training Program on the Personality Variable of the University Students. Suspension Training refers to an approach to strength training that utilizes a system of ropes and webbing called a “Suspension Trainer” to allow the user to work against their own body weight, thereby protecting them from injury. Materials and Method: This study was based on the Suspension Training of University Students. For the present study, 100 students(50 Treatment Group & 50 Control Group) were selected from the Physical Education and Sports department at Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar, aged between 18 and 25 years. They go through with 12-week Suspension Training Program. A random sampling technique was used to collect reliable data. Results & Conclusion:The data were collected pre, mid and post of the 12-week training period. The data were analysed by the SPSS ANOVA statistical technique to find out the effect of the Suspension Training program. The result showed that ware a significant effect on university students (p < 0.05). |
