| Abstract | Academic libraries serve as essential gateways to knowledge, fostering intellectual growth and supporting the teaching, learning, and research functions of higher education institutions. In recent years, the call for inclusivity has underscored the necessity of ensuring that persons with disabilities (PWDs) are provided equitable access to library services. This study examined the effectiveness of inclusive library services for persons with disabilities at Colegio San Agustin-Biñan. Its purpose was to assess inclusive services in terms of physical access, assistive technologies, service delivery, and accessible learning resources, while also identifying implementation challenges and proposing improvements for accessibility and inclusivity. The study used an exploratory qualitative single case study design, combining a semi-structured questionnaire, interviews, and document analysis to gather data from library users and staff. Findings reveal that inclusivity efforts are present but remain developmental. The study concluded that while the library has made initial efforts toward inclusivity, significant gaps remain in policies, infrastructure, staffing, and resources. It recommends strengthening institutional policies and implementing a more systematic accessibility framework to better serve persons with disabilities. |
