Abstract This study aimed to explore the knowledge and practices of individuals regarding PMS, with a particular focus on the non-pharmacological methods used and the factors influencing their adoption.A quantitative cross-sectional descriptive design was adopted, among 200 adolescent girls by using non-probability convenience sampling technique. Data were collected using a socio-demographic performa and a semi-structured questionnaire(Non-pharmacological measures adopted for premenstrual and menstrual syndrome). The findings revealed that most participants, aged 13–14 years, experienced PMS and menstrual symptoms such as abdominal pain, mood swings, and food cravings. Commonly used non-pharmacological measures included home remedies, adequate rest, relaxation techniques, music therapy, hygiene practices, and dietary modifications such as avoiding junk food and increasing fluid intake.Non-pharmacological measures, Adolescent girls, PMS
