Abstract Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease (KFD), also known as histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis, is a rare, benign, self-limiting cause of cervical lymphadenopathy. Although commonly described in young adults, pediatric cases are uncommon and often mimic tuberculosis, lymphoma, and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
