| Abstract | The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the library operations has made a change in how people view the libraries in the educational institutions. The libraries have changed from being just a static place for knowledge into an active learning spaces which supports the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. In this chapter different aspects of AI technologies like chatbots, predictive analytics, recommendations and generative AI tools. These technologies increase the personalized learning, support research and aid data driven decision-making. Libraries plays a critical role as the partners by stimulating the smart resource management and the customized information dissemination to the users. This method helps in encouraging innovation and teamwork among the students and the faculty. This chapter also examines the library services that are provided using technology such as the automated cataloguing, digital repositories and the AI based reference services. The user experience is improved by these services and accessibility of the resources is ensured. It contemplates the data privacy, ethical concerns and the importance of skill development among the library professionals, which are considered vital in the AI driven environment. Through the case studies and the best practices, this chapter highlights on how AI enhanced library services would empower the educators and learners. By linking the human knowledge with the machine intelligence, they generate sustainable, comprehensive and innovative STEAM learning environments. |
