Effect of Indian Mantras on Aggression And Self - Esteem in Youth

| Abstract | The main purpose of this research was to find out the effect of Indian mantras on aggression and self-esteem among youth. The sample consisted of 120 boys and girls were selected randome sampling methods from the Rajkot (Saurashtra). The research tool for aggression measurement scale developed by Bansal P was used in this research. Gujarati translation of which done by Jogsan Y. A. and Doshi D. R. or Self-Esteem Scale develope by Rosenberg. Gujarati translation which done by Jogsan Y. A. and Doshi D. R. Here ‘t’ test and Pearson's correlation was applied to check the significance differences and correlation on indian mantras on Aggression and Self-esteem in youth. The results reveled that Indian mantras was significant effect on the pre-test and post-test mean scores of aggression among youth. Similarly, a significant effect of Indian mantras was found on the pre-test and post-test mean scores of self-esteem among youth. Here correlation between Aggression and Self-esteem is -0.45. which was Nagative correlation. Here correlation significant at 0.01 level. Its means that Aggression increase than Self-esteem decreases and Aggression decrease than Self-esteem increases. |
