Abstract Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance has become an important factor in evaluating a company's long-term sustainability and market value. This study examines the relationship between ESG performance and firm value among listed Indian companies during 2019–2024. Firm value is measured using Tobin's Q, while ESG scores are used as the main independent variable. The findings indicate that companies with better ESG performance generally achieve higher firm value. The study highlights the importance of sustainable business practices in improving investor confidence and supporting long-term corporate growth. These findings provide useful insights for managers, investors, and policymakers in promoting responsible business practices.
